How do I know when it is time to replace or repair my microwave? Good question! In general, microwaves don’t require much maintenance if any. I do recommend keeping the inside clean free of grease, food crumbs, and of course spill over cause by when warming soup, a cup of coffee, milk, and more. Whenever possible try not to slam the microwave door cause you may damage one of the door switches and cause the fuse to trip which will shut down your microwave and stop it from operating. My last recommendation would be to make sure your microwave is on a dedicated circuit.
When it comes to repairing your microwave, we find most times it is something minor like a bad door switch, fuse blown, bad diode, and worst case a bad magnetron or a bad board. Finally regardless of what it is that need repair we will repair it and give you our honest opinion if it is worth fixing or not and before doing any repairs we will provide you with an estimate on total repair cost.
